Sandro Barbato has about eight years of experience in projects related to corporate governance & ESG advisory, proxy solicitation, roadshows, M&As and activism defense for many international clients, mainly but not limited to the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Before joining IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global), he spent over five years at Morrow Sodali.

Sandro holds a German degree in business law (Diplom-Wirtschaftsjurist), is a member of the IR Society (MIRSoc) and of the AIAF (Italian Society of Financial Analysts) which is the Italian member within the EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts).

He is certified as a Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) and as an ESG Specialist both by the Corporate Finance Institute. In addition, he is certified as an ESG Analyst (CESGA) by the EFFAS Societies) and in in Investor Relations (ICIR) by the IR Society.

Sandro has strong intercultural communication skills and speaks German, Italian & English.
